How do Second Chance Tuesday events work?
Our events are designed to provide a great opportunity to meet new technology entrepreneurs, investors and industry shapers.

We provide you with a full attendee list when you arrive and there are coloured badges, green for entrepreneurs, red for investors, blue for press and yellow for ‘other’ to help you find people in the areas you are looking for. Our door team will help with introductions too.

There is a free bar until the money runs out. The event officially ends at 9.30pm but many people stay on to chat late into the night.

There is no dress code.

 

Who is eligible to attend?
Priority for attendance is given to our core membership of entrepreneurs of venture backed businesses, those seeking venture backing, senior executives from leading technology, media and telecoms companies, investors and members of the press.  If that is you we’d love you to attend.

The events are heavily oversubscribed so not everyone who fits the criteria above will be accepted to the event. Usually this is simply due to lack of space. To give access to as many companies as possible we usually limit the number of attendees per company.

Based on feedback from our members we regret that there is only very limited access to advisory firms.

 

If I just turn up on the night can I get in?
No we’re afraid not. Entry is strictly by the guest list only. If your name isn’t on the list the door team will turn you away.

Our events are heavily oversubscribed and are at full capacity so to be fair to everyone who has applied and been accepted in advance and to ensure the venue doesn’t exceed safety limits we don’t admit anyone who isn’t on the guest list.

Unfortunately this applies to everyone, even those with friends or colleagues who are on the list and those who have attended our events before

To register you need to apply online in advance of the event. Registration will close a few days before.

 

What’s next for Second Chance Tuesday?
We plan to run Second Chance Tuesday events at least four times per year in London. Glasshouse London and New York will also run events  for entrepreneurs some of which involve speakers from the technology, media and telecoms sectors. Join their mailing lists here
